How Much Does It Cost To Stay In Krakow For Two Weeks
It was a tough 12-hour flight from Singapore with a pair of poodles crammed under the seat but well worth it when we finally arrived to enjoy Golden Autumn in the beautiful city of Krakow, Poland. This was an ideal place to recharge after all the work of downsizing our possessions and leaving Singapore. We took long walks along the Vistula River, had a few too many burgers at the food truck parks and worked it off at the local gym.
Here is the video detailing our spend in Krakow over 18 days, just over two weeks. We do a head-to-head comparison with our spend in Lviv, Ukraine since we spent the same amount of time there but found each dollar went a lot further.
All amounts are in USD.
Item | Budget |
Accommodations: A studio apartment in a hipster neighbourhood 20 minutes from historic centre. | $610 |
Groceries: We ate most of our meals at home which led to a higher grocery budget. Also, we typically eat a lot of protein, which further increases the bill. | $293 |
Dining Out: Mostly lots of takeaway food, like burgers from the food truck park. | $175 |
Entertainment: A food tour for one person and a tour of Rynek Castle for one. | $82 |
Local Transportation: Mostly to cover cabs upon arrival and departure. We found the city very walkable and didn’t need to take transit. | $15 |

Fitness: We found an amazing gym with a promotional offer of free for 1st two weeks. Here’s how we stay fit while traveling full time. | $0 |
