I recommended Antalya to you a while back and am so glad you had a great time there. Cindy and I love watching your videos.
I’m sending this message because you are or soon will be in San Miguel de Allende where we spent a month back in 2013. You’re going to love it I’m sure. The reason for this note is to encourage you to take a few days and go to the city of Guanajuato. I know you will also fall in love with it as we did.

In contrast to your very helpful sites our blog is not. It’s more a place for our family and friends to see photos of where we’ve been.
Our Freedom Years
And what a great recommendation it was! We really enjoyed our time there and it’s one of the few cities we thought we might return to…perhaps during a slightly warmer time of year. We’ve just wrapped up our month in San Miguel de Allende and it was incredible. However, our favourite part of our time there was actually a day trip to Guanajuato. So great to see your photos from that beautiful city. If we’re ever back in the region, we could easily stay a month in Guanajuato. Congrats on securing your Portugal residency!
